A guide to Puebla
Puebla city was founded as Puebla de los Angeles in 1531, although now known as Heroica Puebla de Zaragoza since 1862, and is the capital of the Mexican state of Puebla. It is a safe city, ideal for exploring on foot.
You will have the opportunity to admire its colonial treasures including buildings that make use of ornamental tiles called Talavera and numerous colonial churches. Puebla's historic centre was granted UNESCO world heritage status in 1987. The cathedral, built between 1552 and 1649, is one of the finest in Mexico; the old theater constructed in 1790 is said to be the oldest in the Americas.

Puebla's weather in November is usually dry. Night temperatures in late November are cool (average low of 7 C), but it can get up to 25 C during the day.
